Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, has sparked debate online after cautioning his members against marrying individuals from outside the church.

During a sermon, Suleman emphasized the benefits of choosing spouses within the ministry, stating that he would no longer attend weddings of members who marry from other churches.

“If you wed somebody outside the ministry, I will not attend the wedding because there are a lot of daughters in this church and you are looking outside,” he said in a viral video. “The wedding will be conducted; they will wed you, but I will not come. 70% of the crisis I have handled in the past two months is from people that married girls from outside here.”
