In a grand gesture of generosity and connection, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun, representing Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has successfully concluded the distribution of over 600 bags of rice to indigent citizens across his constituency. The initiative, aimed at spreading joy during the festive season, underscores his unwavering commitment to his people.

The three-phase distribution exercise was supervised by Mrs. Onobun, the legislator’s wife, alongside designated emissaries. Speaking on behalf of Hon. Onobun, Mrs. Onobun expressed the legislator’s gratitude for the continued support and trust of his constituents, even as he fulfills his duties at the National Assembly.

  • Despite being unable to personally attend due to official engagements, Hon. Onobun extended warm holiday wishes to his constituents, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Appreciative recipients praised the lawmaker, fondly referred to as “Mr. Empowerment,” for his dedication to their welfare and his exemplary representation at the National Assembly.
