Ibrahim Lawal popularly known as Mr Lawanze is a young comedian from Kogi State. In this interview with one of The Compodium’s correspondent, he speaks about his career and what his fans should expect this 2025.
Tell us about yourself.
My Name is Ibrahim Lawal popularly known as Mr Lawanze. I am 300 level student of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Kogi State, formally known as KSU. I’m the CEO of Comfort Zone Concepts. I am From Kogi State and I’m in my late 20s.
You have been in skit making, tell us your journey in the career and what you expect your fans to see this year.
I have been in Skit Making for 10 years now. Facebook just celebrated my 10 years with them last week. I have worked on numerous skits and all are available on my Facebook Page “Mr Lawanze “and my YouTube Channel. Right from the beginning of my journey, people have been showing me love and keep encouraging me to do more and I do promise to keep my fans proud.
What advice do you have for upcoming skit and comedy makers?
My advice for the upcoming content creators is that, they should never allow anything to distract them, if they feel people are not interested in their works, they should innovate new ideas and forge ahead as their continuous efforts would yield better results which would make them get celebrated at last.
Do you have any project presently?
Yes. I have 2 projects at hand right now aside my normal contents. The first one is called “MaMa Farida” and the second one is “Behind The Scenes in Marriage “

Yes, as we all know, every human needs supports; I will gladly accept any offer from anyone

Yes, I have been collaborating with people and people have been collaborating with me too. I have got a lot of people who booked to work with me in 2025.
