We came to this world with nothing at all,
Naked and bare, we began life’s call.
No riches to carry, no jewels to claim,
Just a soul to light, and a heart to frame.
We’ll leave this world with nothing to hold,
No treasures of silver, nor diamonds of gold.
But the love we’ve given, the warmth we’ve shown,
Will be the only legacy we’ve truly known.
So let’s be kind to one another, my friend,
For kindness is the thread that will never end.
It’s the only thing we take, and the only thing we give,
